My server on it's own used to be the best server in the world. And now we get this just in time for half of the servers being dead in Shadowlands. We just had a bunch of combining of low-pop servers before Shadowlands. Now we just need dates! 😆 Comment by Ironyman on T11:42:58-05:00
I was literally teetering on the edge of transfering a bunch of characters from one realm to the other, so I'm glad I saw this! Maybe leading to truly dead / low pop servers actually being removed or blended with high pop servers rather then simply putting a bunch of low ones together that hasn't really fixed the issues.
The final nail for a lot of low pop servers.which could actually be a good thing in the end. They're gonna want to take advantage of not many ally's going to be in the top rank for m+. We're gonna see alot of hordies switching to alliance because of faction imbalance. It is an automated money making process thats absolutely disgusting pricey. This incentive is to make it seem like less money and more affordable for a service that is literally useless except for Mythic 100 ranking. Either all are going, or almost all, or none are going. I would only maybe do it if I could transfer my entire roster on a realm for a little over what it would cost to transfer a single toon. When in reality that won't get me or others to do it. They will likely just discount by a little the total of what it would cost to transfer each toon individually.
